Firm News: Bob Sidoti will take Patent Bar
We are pleased to announce that Robert A. Sidoti, an Associate of the Firm, has applied for taking the Patent Exam scheduled for April 18, 2001.
Bob has been associated with Joseph B. Jerome and Associates since September, 2000, having received his law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona. Counseling in respect to Intellectual Property matters (including Trade Marks and Service Mark filings both Federal and State; Copyright filings; and other substantive areas with Intellectual Property and other proprietary rights) is a significant area of our practice which has now expanded ever moreso with Bob's joining the firm. With Bob's extensive studies of Patent Law and based upon his Mechanical Engineering background, we expect to shortly expand our services available to include representation with respect to Patent prosecution, including the filing of applications for protection of other intellectual property rights (patents, trademarks and service marks); litigation associated with the protection of intellectual property rights as well as defense of same asserted by holders of alleged intellectual property cliams; and transaction matters involving intellectual property, including licensing agreements; confidentialy agreements; assignments of rights and other related transactional/contractual matters involving this area of law.
